What is Breathworks?

Breathworks is a virtual 4 week meditation program that was build to increase in length and insight, week over week. Making it attainable for anyone, to start mastering their mindset.

This program consists of four breathing practices:
  • 8 minute meditation “Breath to Focus”
  • 10 minute meditation “Serene Mind”
  • 14 minute meditation “Soul Sync”
  • 18-20 minute “Unlocking Flow” 

Through these powerful meditation practices, our program helps you tap into the natural rhythms of your body and mind, leading you to mental clarity, focus and presence. Moving you to flow states. 

BREATHWORKS

Weekly Schedule

We meet live on zoom Monday – Friday. Monday is wisdom day, where we cover the mediation and insight for the week. (last around 25-30 min). Tuesday – Friday we log in only to practice; the call will be the length of that specific week’s mediation.

Week #1

Breath to Focus (8 min)
Insight: Learn the science behind breath & the secret behind Djokovic success: the power of conscious breathing.

Week #2

Serene Mind (10 min)
Insight: Through the power of breathing & observation; receive the tool to dissolve anxiety, worry and stress before any performance.

Week #3

Unlocking Flow (18-20 min)
Insight: Learn to enter flow state (a state of effortless action) by learning to connect to your mind and body.

Week #4

Soul Sync (12 to 14 min)
Insight: Learn to visualize and realize your heartfelt desires through this powerful practice.

What to Expect

Each week the student will focus on mastering one technique at a time. Through each technique the athlete is learning to regulate their state through their breath, as well as to enhance their mental strength effortlessly. 
Each practice has its own unique proven scientific benefit:

“Breath to Focus”

8 minute conscious breathing practice which strengthens the cholinergic system(responsible for concentration), helping you concentrate faster, and with more ease. This practice will also give you a stronger capability to tune out the mind, and dissolve anxiety so you truly become present to the task at hand.

“Soul Sync”

15 minute practice, focuses on activating the vagus nerve, relaxing the parasympathetic nervous system, as well as releasing nitric oxide through both breath and a variety of finger touches. This deep sense of relaxation allows for quicker muscular repair. In addition, students will learn to visualize a result they wish to achieve, mentally preparing them for their upcoming performance.

“Serene mind”

10 minute practice which calms the amygdala(fight or flight center) of the brain, and activates the prefrontal cortex, the area of your brain responsible for focus, mental clarity, and conscious decision making. This practice will enhance awareness and tranquility in students.

“Unlocking Flow”

This 18 -20 minute practice, activates both the cholinergic system, as well as the prefrontal cortex simultaneously , moving students into a flow state where they will learn to observe the sensations arising in their body, moving into the present, the zone when it matters most.
